Departure from Milano central railway station towards Rome. Arrival in Rome central railway station and transfer by bus to Viterbo. Visit to Piazza San Lorenzo and Palazzo Farnese, the Cathedral, the Palazzo Papal (papal palace), the medieval quarters, Santa Maria Nuova and San SIsto churches. Accommodation in 4* Hotel Relais Falisco or similar hotel. Dinner and overnight included.

Monday, July 11

Breakfast included, at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Bagnaia and visit to Villa Lante. Transfer via bus to Montefiascone, with visit to San Flaviano church and Rocca dei Papi, and then to Bolsena, with visit to the ancient village and Santa Cristina church. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight included.

Tuesday, July 12

Breakfast included, at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Caprarola, visit of Palazzo Farnese (interior and gardens) and of Santa Teresa church.

Transfer by bus to Cerveteri, visit to the Etruscan necropolis, a beautiful place immersed in a pine trees park and hosting the highest concentration of mound tombs whose interiors, full of paintings, are accessible to the public. Bus transfer to Bracciano and visit to the Orsini-Odescalchi castle, the wonderful feudal fifteenth-century building, still property of the Orsini-Odescalchi family, perfect convergence of military and civil architecture. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight included.

Wednesday, July 13

Breakfast included, at the hotel. Visit of Tuscania and its S. Pietro and S. Maria Maggiore church. Bus transfer to Tarquinia: visit to the Etruscan necropolis in Monterozzi, the National Archeological Museum and S. Maria di Castello. Return to Rome and train to Milan.
