Departure by bus from Milan towards San Gimignano and visit of its historic center: the Collegiata, with its frescos from XIV and XV cent., the Palazzo del Popolo and S. Agostino church with paintings from XV and XVI cent. Transfer by bus to Siena and accommodation in 4* Hotel Athena or similar hotel. Dinner and overnight included.

Breakfast included, at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Pienza, in the heart of the Val d’Orcia: Piazza Pio II, Palazzo vescovile, Palazzo comunale, Cattedrale, Palazzo Piccolomini.

Transfer by bus to Montalcino, beautiful city with its huge castle, sign of the countless rivalries with Siena. Montalcino is rich with historical palaces, churches and museui, among them: Piazza del Popolo, Palazzo dei Priori, Chiesa di S. Egidio, Chiesa di S. Agostino. Visit to S. Antimo abbey. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight included.

Visit of Siena: Piazza del Campo, Fonte Gaia, Palazzo Pubblico, Torre del Mangia, Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta e Libreria Piccolomini annex to the Cathedral and containing Pinturicchio’s paintings of Pope Pio II life, Battistero, Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, ex Ospedale Santa Maria della Scala with famous room “Sala del Pellegrinaio” and it frescos from XV cent. Return to Milan by bus.
