Sunday, July 10
Departure from Milan central railway station toward Naples central railway station. At the arrival a private bus will guide the group into Napleshistoric center: Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Real, Santa Chiara, Duomo, Gesù Nuovo, San Lorenzo Maggiore. Transfer in the late afternoon to the 4* Hotel Mediterraneo Renaissance or similar hotel. Dinner and overnight included.
Monday, July 11
Breakfast included, at the hotel. Visit to the Archeological National Museum. Transfer by bus to Golfo di Pozzuoli, Baia. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight included.
Tuesday, July 12
Breakfast included, at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Pompei. Visit of Pompei archeological site.

Transfer by bus to Sorrento and visit of the historic center and Museo Correale in Terranova. Return to the hotel in Naples. Dinner and overnight included.
Wednesday, July 13
Breakfast included, at the hotel. Bus excursion on the Costiera Amalfitana (Amalfi Coast). Visit to Positano and its S. Maria Assunta church, to Amalfi (the ancient maritime Republic) and its historic center with Sant’Andrea cathedral, the cloister (Chiostro del Paradiso) and the Museum of Sacred Art and to Ravello, including visits to San Pantaleone cathedral and Villa Rufolo, with a wonderful view on the Costiera Amalfitana. Ravello is a beautiful, peaceful and chic village with an ancient history (it was a flourishing commercial center already on XI – XII centuries). Like a natural terrace it faces the sea from Lattari mountains and its view on the coast is one of the most beautiful in the world. Return to the hotel in Naples. Dinner and overnight included.

Thursday, July 14
Breakfast included, at the hotel. Departure by bus toward Salerno. Visit to the archeological site San Pietro a Corte, to Salerno historic center with well documented and highly visible archeological ruins belonging to many different historic periods, starting from the 1st century A.C. The archeological site comprehends the surface and the subsoil, with different stratigraphic layers and many evidences of particular historic, archeological and artistic interest. This site is unique, due to the presence in the Palazzo di Arechi II of the only one archeological evidence of Langobard architecture. Salerno’s historic center includes the Roman thermal bath, early Christian place of worship, a XII cent. oratory and many artifacts and renovations, made starting from 1500. The group will then visit the Cathedral dedicated to S. Matteo (XI cent.), a Romanesque building containing Arab-Norman architecture and famous for its rich mosaics and polychromatic intarsia.
