Art and wine in Piedmont
The green of hills under the summer sun, the black darkness of the cellars, the white and red of the wine carefully poured into your glasses: all these shades blend in a journey that brings you in the region of Piedmont. Land with an ancient wine tradition Piedmont is just an hour from Milan, you can admire the historical region of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, where to enjoy art, food and wine tasting.

Departure is planned at 9:00 from Piazza Castello.
From there the bus will take you towards the south west, into the Piedmont region. You will cross the agricultural centre for rice production. Looking out the window you will only see risaie, paddy fields and old farmsteads, until you reach the Langhe, beautiful hills.
Arrive in Barolo, to visit the recently renovated wine Museum, and unique Museum of the Bottle Screws. Visit the historic Cantene of the Marchese of Barolo, where you can admire last century barriques still used for the Barolo.
After lunch it is time to start wine tasting. Two stops to visit among the most important wine makers in the world. Discover Vajra, where you can visit the wine cellar, probably the only one in the world with stained glass windows. Then to the Montenzemolo vineyard, where history of noble families and wine making create a unique atmosphere.
It is a short drive to la Morra and then to Roddi to visit the Castel. Visit Cherasco and Novello just to get a taste of fantastic landscapes, unique art, wines and fantastic food: the essence of Italy.
