The journal aims to foster knowledge-sharing through interdisciplinary research and best practices for the protection of cultural heritage in a fast-changing world.\u00a0Published by UNESCO since 1948 and with Wiley-Blackwell since 1992, publishing rights for the journal were transferred from UNESCO to ICOM in 2013. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alongside ICOM\u2019s 2016 General Conference in Milan, Italy, the next issue of Museum International Vol.\u00a068, No. 271 \u2013 272 will reflect upon the role museums play in the complex relationship between landscapes and identity.
