Lunigiana, in Italy\u2019s north west, is a particularly scenic territory bordered by the Liguria\u2019s Riviera, the Apuan Alps and the Apennine National Park that leads into Tuscany and Emilia. Participants will be guided through Lunigiana on a two-day trip that starts from Pontremoli, with its Piagnaro Castle and Menhir Statue Museum, continues to Castiglione del Terziere and the Firmafede Fortress in Sarzana \u2013 two masterpieces of Renaissance architecture \u2013 then takes in the quaint hamlets that dot the Ligurian coast before ending with a visit to the lunar landscape of Carrara\u2019s marble quarries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
