On Entering the Museum, where they are met by Francesco Messina\u2019s\u00a0sculpture of Francesco Cassani, visitors embark on <b>a veritable journey through the history of agricultural mechanisation<\/b>. In fact, the Museum is home to some real treasures \u2013 often one-off specimens \u2013 which testify to the history of the Company. This is much more than an exhibition of tractors: some of the most important breakthroughs in the mechanisation of agriculture are represented through prototypes and mass-produced machines, all in pristine condition: original items, texts and images. In the foreground \u2013 naturally \u2013 are the <b>tractors,\u00a0thirty-six models are exhibited, the most significant of which\u00a0is a milestone of mechanisation: <\/b>The Cassani 40 HP Tractor (1927), the first to be powered by a diesel engine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/icom-milano-2016.mini.icom.museum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/47\/2019\/01\/RTEmagicC_Museo_Storico_1.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br \/><i>\u00a9 SDF Archivio Storico e Museo &#8211; Treviglio &#8211; Italia<\/i><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The archives stand alongside the significant <b>SAME Museum<\/b>, dedicated to the history of the tractor and of agricultural mechanisation. These Archives are dedicated to the collection, conservation and promotion of historical documentation recording the long life of SAME and of the brands owned by the Group.
