Areas of industrial archeology converted into multifunctional spaces

Ex Aeronautical Officine Caproni and the Officine del Volo

The “Aeronautical Officine Caproni” were one of the most important examples of the great industrial Milan. During the Second World War the company reached 50,000 employees. At the end of the war, with the drastic reduction of military orders, the company was forced to close due to bankruptcy in 1950. The entire area, valuable example of industrial heritage, has been gradually sold and refurbished. In particular two of those typical red bricks buildings host today a unique space for meetings and events, called Le Officine del Volo.
