A city that is just waiting to be discovered in all of its many aspects: filled with historic evidence, acclaimed museums, works of contemporary art en plein air, cultural events, with its characteristic arcades, renowned historical meeting places, spacious parks and magic places.<\/p>\n<p><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The arrival of the group from Milan is scheduled at 9.30 to meet the guide and start the visit of the <b>Egyptian Museum:<\/b> the only museum other than the Cairo Museum dedicated solely to Egyptian art and culture. Many international scholars, since the decipherer of Egyptian hieroglyphs Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Champollion, who came to Turin in 1824, spend much time pouring over the collections. It was Champollion who famously wrote \u201cThe road to Memphis and Thebes passes through Turin\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/icom-milano-2016.mini.icom.museum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/47\/2019\/01\/RTEmagicC_Museo_Egizio_c_Fontana_Citta_di_Torino.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br \/><i>Museo_Egizio\u00a9Fontana_Citt\u00e0 di Torino<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Afterwards, the groups heads to the <b>Royal Museums<\/b> on foot and enjoys a light lunch at the cafeteria of the Museum, offered by the City of Turin.
