Participants residing in countries of Categories 3 and 4 (click here to see categories) will be eligible for discounted fees.

Students must provide a valid student card or letter of enrollment in order to qualify for this discount. The required proof needs to be sent together with your registration form.  

Accompanying persons will have a restricted access to the conference. Entrance to the exhibition area, poster area and conference sessions is not included. 
Only one accompanying person may be registered per delegate.

Press with appropriate credentials may register free of charge.

Registration fees

More information on registration fees will be available July 2015.

The registration fee for delegates includes entry to all sessions, the exhibition area, the poster area, the opening party on 4 July and the closing party on 9 July (within the limit of the number of places available on a first-come-first-served basis) and coffee-breaks.

On receipt of a completed registration form and correct fee, each participant will receive an electronic confirmation of their registration along with login details for their profile. The profile will enable participants to check their registration, add bookings and reserve a hotel room. 

An individual e-mail address must be provided at all times.

 

Group registrations

Group registrations will be possible for a minimum of 10 participants.

Please note that the individual e-mail address of each participant is mandatory and must be provided when registering the participants.

 

Letter of Invitation for visa application

Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation can request one from the K.I.T. Group Registration Department (icom2016-registration@kit-group.org). To receive a Letter of Invitation, attendees must first register to the conference and submit payment in full. Letters of Invitation will not be sent after the standard registration deadline.

The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the conference organisers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

 

Visa Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. 

The organisers will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.

The registration fee minus a handling fee of Amount 40 EUR will be refunded after the conference closing date if the visa was applied for in time, and an official proof of the embassy confirming that a visa could not be granted, is forwarded to the K.I.T. Group Registration Department.
